Healing begins with connection.

Reaching out for therapy is a brave step — and you’re not doing it alone.

I offer down‑to‑earth, empathetic, judgment‑free psychotherapy for people who spend their lives caring for others. Together, we’ll explore what it means to thrive — not perfectly, but authentically.

What brings you here?

Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure how to keep showing up for others when your own reserves feel low.

Maybe you’re grieving — a loss, a shift, or a version of yourself you no longer recognize.

Maybe you’ve been carrying stress, trauma, or responsibility for so long that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to rest.

Whatever brings you here, you are welcome.

I work primarily with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and frontline workers navigating burnout, life transitions, emotional pain, and the quiet ache of being needed more than nourished.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

You don’t have to be “strong” all the time.

This is a space to pause. To reflect. To reconnect with yourself

Hi there! I’m Jill.

I’m a Registered Nurse, Educator, and Certified Nurse Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and communities through care, crisis, and transformation.

I specialize in working with people who spend their lives tending to others — healthcare professionals, caregivers, and frontline workers. Whether you’re experiencing burnout, grief, stress, or simply seeking clarity, I offer a calm, compassionate space where you can be seen, heard, and supported.

My approach is relational, trauma‑informed, and grounded in the landscapes of the Kawarthas — where light filters through trees, water reflects stillness, and healing unfolds gently.

My Approach to Therapy

Healing is not a one-size-fits-all process — it’s relational, intentional, and deeply personal.

I offer a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to perform. My approach is guided by these core values:

Compassionate care
Warmth, empathy, and respect. Your story matters, and I hold it with care.

Relational depth
Healing happens in connection. Trust and attunement are at the heart of our work.

Inclusivity and integrity
Trauma‑informed, culturally aware, and committed to ethical care for all identities.

I draw on:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful patterns

  • Neurobiology of stress to understand how the body responds to challenge

  • Mindfulness‑ and Meaning‑Focused Therapy (MMFT) to reconnect with what matters most

Together, these approaches support resilience, clarity, and a renewed sense of possibility.
